Emmerdale viewers tuned in to a dramatic first episode of the soap tonight which saw Kim Tate (played by Claire King) fall from a balcony, crashing to the floor moments later.
But did she fall or was she pushed? And who is responsible?
Following her conversation with Sam Dingle (James Hooton) earlier in the episode, it is highly likely, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) is to blame.
“She [Kim] is one nasty piece of work,” Faith explained to Sam.
“She’s poison that’s what she is, and she’s hurting our family.”
When Sam questioned Faith about what she was going to do about the situation she remarked: “Something, at least.
“Not just roll over and take it, bite back.”
Faith then excused herself and viewers saw her leave the room to go and “get some air”.
But could she have gone to find Kim and following an explosive row and pushed her from the balcony?
And will Kim survive the fall or is she dead? After all, Emmerdale fans know her time in the village is brief.
It comes after actress Sally revealed her character was going to be at the heart of the havoc.
“Well, this masquerade ball is going to be extremely dramatic!” she explained to Metro.co.uk earlier this month.
And she added how Faith was going to be “at the centre of the drama!”.
Could this confirm Faith was behind the iconic villain’s fall?
Alongside this, there have been rumours suggesting this week’s drama is set to open up a new storyline for Kim to stick around.
Thus meaning she wouldn’t die from the fall.
With Joe now out of the picture, she could be planning on extending her stay to take over Home Farm once again.
And Faith better watch out if Kim finds out she did push her, because the iconic villain is one to take revenge.
Meanwhile, how will Debbie cope without an explanation from Joe for leaving her at the altar?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
